So my name's officially Cassandra but with the exceptions of my mother and grandparents, everyone calls me Cassie. I'm majoring in Psychology and I was minoring in Critical Sexualities Studies until I finally found out we don't need a minor (YES!!! lol) so I quit the never-ending, paper-filled classes of CSS. My specialization for the middle grades in our program is math (because math is awesome). I also intend to do the Early Childhood Education endorsement because I currently work with that age group now with a company called Fun Bus. It's a big giant green school bus with games and an obstacles course (an occasionally swings and a slide) that goes to daycare centers and birthday parties. It's a lot of fun and I get to feel like a celebrities because everyone recognizes me and the bus wherever we go (well at least little kids and their parents do!)
I love doing anything that helps others or gives back. I'm about to start a research class (which is neither research nor a class really) where I get to mentor and tutor at risk adolescents in middle school. It'll be my last psychology class and I can't think of another way I'd like to spend my last one. I also volunteer at an animal shelter in Colonia, NJ called Angel Paws (I'll try and remember to take a picture next time I'm there and upload it).
Other than that I have a few guilty pleasure tv shows like Once Upon a Time, Revenge, and Pretty Little Liars. Oh, and Grimm and Perception. Perception is definitely tuned into the psychology junky in me :) I'm addicted to coffee... and I need my french vanilla creamer. I love Cosmo, mornings, oh and pearls (sorority girl <3). And I HATE winter, sorry Ben. But I love trying new things and of course acting like a kid. My boyfriend and I just did our first Color Run in Brooklyn this past August and it was AWESOME! It was the craziest and messiest thing I've done in a while but was so much fun (and hilarious!).
